Foundations of Communication
This course was designed for anyone who supervised employees or was on the management team. This 100-minute virtual-instructor-led course was designed to be hosted on Zoom or Microsoft Teams for 8-12 participants.
Course Objectives
The course objectives were based on the Rawhide Leadership Competencies. I took the 6 competencies and then vetted and researched the behavior statements that would go under them in consultation with Subject Matter Experts.
Interactive Activities
Remember that training isn’t just about
sharing new concepts and processes. Learners
need to be able to immediately apply their
freshly acquired knowledge to ensure they
absorb what they’ve been taught. I use chat, breakout rooms, annotations, polls, stamping and games to reinforce and explore learning concepts. I also encourage students to ask questions, and comment on the activities and interact with each other in chat.
